We have an exciting new exhibit for our 2026 season. It is called Mount Shasta Stories.
This exhibit tells the stories of our area with the themes of logging, transportation, indigenous people, early settlers, business and agriculture.
Mount Shasta has always been more than a landmark – it’s a magnet.
For indigenous people, the abundance of food and resources were primary.
Americans of all nationalities arrived and stayed: chasing timber, agriculture, business, mountaineering, scientific discovery, and simply the lure and beauty of the mountain.
