Remarkable Summer
We had a very busy summer, with a great deal of visitors and received glowing reviews.
A special thanks to all our wonderful volunteers and supporters.
Ford Family Foundation and First Five of Siskiyou Grants
Our museum received two important grants this year. The Good Neighbor grant from the Ford Family Foundation was in recognition of our Mount Shasta Stories exhibit.
The First Five of Siskiyou grant funded new furniture for our reading corner and new interactive elements.
Looking For Artifacts for 2027
In the upcoming year we will be doing stories on the old local dairies.
If you have any old milk bottles with local labels we would like to borrow them for the exhibit.
Front Door and Roof Projects
2026 was a busy year for renovations here at the museum.
Not only did we repair and upgrade the roof (funded through Giving Tuesday donations), but we have also installed a beautiful new wheelchair friendly front door.
