June 9 – Remarkable Women of Upper Soda Springs

Join us for our first in-person presentation of the season!

The pioneer women who lived in Northern California in the 1800s often braved hardship and tragedy to make a life for themselves and their families. One of these women was Elda McCloud Masson, the subject Angel Gomez’s presentation hosted by Mt. Shasta Sisson Museum, 1 N Old Stage Rd, Mt Shasta, CA at 7 p.m., $5 donation.

Angel attended Dunsmuir Elementary School, and then moved to the Bay Area with his family where he attended UC-Berkeley, and then Harvard Law School. After a successful career as a trial lawyer, he now spends more time enjoying the wonderful beauty and wonderful people of the Mount Shasta and Dunsmuir area.

Donations benefit the Mt. Shasta Sisson Museum.
